Forming & Welding

At Roncelli Plastics Inc., we offer the complete package providing the forming and welding services you need. From your small fixtures to your large tanks Roncelli Plastics Inc. continues to provide the quality service and product our clients have come to know and expect.

Welding Methods of heat welding thermoplastics may be classified as hot gas welding, heated tool welding, induction welding and friction or spin welding. We use the hot gas (air or nitrogen) and heated tool methods. Weldable materials include: Polypropylene, Polyethelene, PVC, PVFD,ABS and PFA. Our welding experts can discuss these and other options with you. Only experience and careful observation can assure good joints with maximum strength and minimum degradation of the material.

Forming The shape of sheet or flat thermoplastics can be changed – bent – by several processes to achieve pattern specifications without seams. Specific machines or equipment are required to heat the plastic material in order to render it pliable enough to accomplish a successful bend technique. Bending methods include Straight line bending, Heat Oven for full size sheets, Thermal forming and Vacuum Forming. We typically use the straight line and oven methods.

At Roncelli Plastics Inc., we offer the complete package providing the forming and welding services you require.

Symalit® ECTFE

Symalit ECTFE (ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene) Manufactured from Halar resin, this material offers excellent corrosion and chemical resistance, particularly at elevated temperatures and in strong basic chemistries.

Symalit ECTFE offers a broad range of physical, mechanical, and flame resistant properties. It provides an excellent combination of properties designed to meet the standards of FM 4910 which governs the materials of construction for cleanroom equipment. The result is that this fluoroplastic continues to be a long-term choice for safety and protection in fire-safe systems.
