Do you injection mold plastics?
Roncelli Plastics is a full service non-metallic machine shop. We take stock shape plastics, (made via extruded, compression molded, or injection molded) and machine them into finished parts, components, or assemblies.
What type of plastics do you machine?
We are a full service plastics machine shop. We utilize our segregated machine shop to accommodate laminates, “see-throughs”, fluoropolymers, nylons and acetals, to the advanced engineered plastics like PPS, PEEK, PAI, and PBI in our climate controlled manufacturing cell. We also have full Stamp & Die cutting capability of plastic sheet, film, rubber, metals, and fiber sheet.
Do you offer mechanical assembly capability?
Yes, we have complete in-house manufacturing and assembly capability. We have a complete tooling and machining center for making fixtures and tools needed for any assembly job. As an added value, we have added a Class 10,000 and Class 1,000 Cleanroom to support our assembly and packaging business.
Can you do in-house testing of assemblies?
Yes, we have many customer designed testing capabilities as well as our own methods for testing components for pressure, electrical, mechanical strength, and leak test.
Do you offer other capabilities beyond machined plastics?
Absolutely! We offer Stamp & Die Cut capabilities of all metals, plastics, rubber, foams etc. Recently, due to many customer requests, we added plastic welding to our portfolio to allow us to our support customer needs.
Can you support our engineering department with technical support?
Yes, we have full service capabilities with in-house mechanical & chemical engineering support coupled with full 3D modeling capability and support. Roncelli Plastics has a tremendous amount industry experience throughout the company; most of our company has 10+ years of experience in the plastics industry.
Some of our products are used in very critical applications and require extreme tolerances, are you capable of meeting our needs?
Yes, we have a complete machining cell that is in a climate controlled environment. This cell has the full capability of our main floor machine shop although is segregated to support machining components using exotic materials and tolerances where moisture and thermal stability may need a more stable atmosphere.
Do you have a full-time Quality Engineer?
Yes, we have a Quality Manager with several full-time quality engineers to support manufacturing and customer requirements. We are ISO9001:2000 and AS9100 Certified as well as established preferred quality systems by many major customers worldwide.
